James Craig is a 2023 OF/3B with a 6-0 200 lb. large frame from Aptos, CA who attends Aptos. At the plate Craig starts in a wide, balanced stance with flat bat on shoulder. Load has a negative shift aspect with a drifting leg kick and stride. Showed excellent bat speed and ball loudly jumped off the barrel at times during his BP round. Has current gap power with potential for more. Defensively Craig uses proper fielding and footwork technique. Funnels the ball well into mid-section. Throws were accurate for the most -part with developing arm strength. Clocked a 7.45 60-yard. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
