Deshaun White is a 2027 SS/RHP/OF with a 5-10 165 lb. frame from Williamsport, PA who attends Williamsport Area. Lean, athletic frame with a high waist, long levers and plenty of room to fill out. Primary shortstop with an athletic, fundamentally sound defensive skill set. Showed a quick first step and plenty of lateral range to field properly out in-front, while showing the ability to make the plays on the run. Recorded arm strength up to 82 mph across the diamond. Secondary outfielder with anticipatory actions into the fielding process. Fields properly off his front foot, gathers cleanly and maintained momentum into release. Stays behind the baseball, shuffles into a higher arm slot and produced throws up to 84 mph during drills. Switch-hitter thats hits from a similar, slightly open stance with a high hand set and high back elbow. Incorporates bigger move into launch, a slightly elongated swing path from both sides and some present bat speed. Generates good lower half torque, stays behind the baseball and generates some leverage. More balanced approach with slightly shorter path from the right-side, produced line drives from both sides and flashes some power potential moving forward. Athletic, projectable frame prospect with tons of upside remaining on both sides of the baseball, will continue ti improve with mechanicals refinements and additional strength. Excellent Student.
