Bowen DeRosso is a 2027 OF/RHP/3B with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Moultrie, GA who attends Colquitt County. Medium athletic frame with lots of room to get stronger. Ran a 7.14 sixty yard dash. Primary outfielder, fields with a low center of gravity, quick one hand gather into an extended low effort release. Right handed hitter, hits from a narrow base and keeps the hands tight to the body, has some quickness to his hands, minimal weight shift with an abbreviated finish after contact, unique mechanics that work for him with good control of the bat head. Also pitched, stretch only delivery with a cross fire landing at foot strike and a low 3/4 arm slot, controls the body well down the mound, has hand speed and whip to the arm, fastball topped at 85 mph with late sinking life and angle, slider was a weapon with medium lateral break and power behind it in the low 70's, flashed a changeup with tumbling action and good velocity separation. Advanced feel for secondary offerings and easy strike throwing ability. Lots of upside on the mound.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
