Jackson Youngblood is a 2026 OF/RHP/IF with a 5-11 150 lb. frame from Beaumont, TX who attends Hardin-Jefferson. Slender young athletic build with lots of room to get stronger. Primary outfielder on defense, has good range and speed and closes on the ball well, makes accurate throws with some carry, made the defensive play of the event with a full out diving catch in right center field. Also worked out in the infield. Right handed hitter, hits from a high hand/wrapped barrel start, moves in well to contact and has a short and quick swing, midfield to pull side contact, repeats his timing well, bat speed will continue to improve as he adds strength. Also pitched, works from a simple slow paced delivery with a high 3/4's arm slot. Threw strikes to spots with a fastball that topped out at 78 mph, also threw a change up with some cutting action. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
