Connor Smith is a 2026 2B/RHP, IF, OF with a 5-10 145 lb. frame from Loganville, GA who attends Grayson. Recorded a 8.03 second 60-yard dash time. Primary second baseman who has a medium frame, slender build, and possesses lateral mobility and some developing feel for the glove. Long arm action in the infield that produced throws across with accuracy at 62 mph. Also appeared behind the plate in drills and showcased a pop time of 2.50 and throws at 60 mph. Right-handed pitcher who works from a full wind-up from the middle of the rubber, and repeats his delivery with a long arm action that stays on time through release from a 3/4 slot. Fastball sat in the high 60's, with a high of 69-mph. Repeats mechanics on the mound which leads to a lot of strikes. Also mixed in a curveball with some depth and separation from the fastball at 55-mph. Right-handed hitter who used a wide stance and hands loaded at setup. Stays linear with his mechanics and had some feel for the barrel which he uses to make contact out front of the plate with extension producing hard hit contact working mostly the middle of the field. Actions and good size with strength projection, lend to suggest positive progression moving forward.
