Devon Wilkes is a 2025 1B/LHP with a 6-0 230 lb. frame from Oxnard, CA who attends Pacifica. Big and physical, has big strength potential. Left handed hitter, hits from an open stance with an early front side shift, swings hard with a short and direct swing, has bat speed and big power potential, flashed it both in the games and in batting practice, chance as a hitter if he works hard and develops his body and swing. 8.09 runner in the sixty. Primary first baseman on defense with developing actions and foot quickness. Took a turn on the mound, works from a slow paced high leg raise delivery with a high 3/4's arm action. Fastball worked in the low 70's with occasional arm side running life, also did a nice job of landing his curveball for strikes. Power is his tool.
