Chase Harrington is a 2026 RHP/1B, OF with a 6-2 190 lb. frame from Emporia, KS who attends Emporia. Recorded a 7.25 second sixty yard dash time. XL frame with room to fill. Right-handed pitcher works exclusively from the stretch with a belt-high leg kick with a longer stride down the mound. Shorter arm action with a high three- quarter release point. The fastball (1728 RPM) was mid-70s to low 80s and reached 81 that he could locate in the top of the zone for swing and miss. The curveball (1870 RPM) has snap and tighter 11-5 shape with slurvy movement that was able to break out of the zone low and away for swing and miss. Also showed a change-up with some arm-side fade. Went right after hitters and filled the zone not giving up much loud contact. Secondary outfielder with arm strength and was clean making all the plays. Right-handed hitter starts from a narrow base with a slightly open stance, utilizes a load stride trigger. Uphill swing path with strength and bat speed but with some length to the swing. Looks to elevate. Hit well in game action collecting a triple over the left fielder and another triple into the right-center gap. Added another two hits on Sunday as well. Exciting player with a high ceiling. Great student. Named to the Central Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List.
