2021 Summer Northeast Showcase (Tues/Wed)
Jayden McClellan is a 2022 MIF/RHP/3B/OF with a 6-1 170 lb. frame from Glenmont, NY who attends Ravena Senior. From the infield, McClellan flashed the ability to change slots and successfully throw on the run with good range and footwork. He had clear bounce in his step and showed off a reliable glove. On the mound, McClellan worked from a projectable frame with room to add strength and fill out. From a low 3/4 slot, he pounded the zone and attacked hitters aggressively with a high 70s FB and a 2 plane slurve that kept opponents off balance. Offensively McClellan started from a slightly open stance and used the middle pull side of the field consistently with line drive contact and good lower half rotation. Ran a 7.46 60 yard dash.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
