Eli Herst is a 2026 RHP/C/3B with a 6-2 160 lb. frame from Seattle, WA who attends Garfield High School. Tall, slender and wiry build. Ran a 7.32 60-yard dash. Primary right handed pitcher with a projectable build, repeatable athletic movements in the delivery and a high three-quarter arm slot. Showed some arm speed on the mound with a mid to upper 70's fastball with some cutting action to it. A curve ball with some sweeping action across the zone and depth. And a change up with some maintained arm speed. Also worked out in the infield and at catcher where he showed solid fundamentals, putting together solid rounds of defensive drills showing solid average arm strength. Hit from an even base with leg lift timing. Gets on plane consistently with the pitch, takes a level bat path through the zone, developing bat speed but some feel for the barrel and ability to use the whole field. Named to Northwest Prospect Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
