Gerard L. Rivera Fournier is a 2022 C/1B with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Juana Diaz, PR who attends Albergue Olímpico Baseball Academy. Large frame with a lean and projectable build. Ran a 7.02 second 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, has good twitch and quickness to his actions, gets segmented in his transfers at times but gets rid of it quick and showed solid arm strength on throws during drills. Right-handed hitter, sets up wide and open with relaxed hands; works loose through the zone with excellent whip to the barrel, gets good separation with his hands and has strength in the swing that allows him to produce solid carry on barreled contact to either gap. Great student.
