Fernando Y. Bones Candelario is a 2022 2B/SS with a 5-7 137 lb. frame from Arroyo, PR who attends Albergue Olímpico Baseball Academy. Recorded a 7.12 second 60-yard dash time. Athletic frame with a lean, wiry build and room to add strength. Primary second baseman who rounds the ball well and moves really athletically. Good footwork and hands work really well through release. Accurate from multiple slots with good body control and throws recorded up to 78 mph. Switch hitter with a wide base, high hand set, and a high back elbow. Wide base and can turn the barrel over and flash some power. Simple stroke with good balance and some power projection long term. Good student.
