Nash Hornberger is a 2026 OF/RHP/3B with a 6-2 175 lb. frame from Dallas, TX who attends Pearce. Primary outfielder with a tall slender build with good length to build on moving forward. Ran a 7.65 second sixty. Works to the ball well in the outfield getting to the right side of the ball and receiving it off the left foot as he gathers into the throws with good momentum making accurate throws. Works to the ball with a measured approach on the infield receiving the ball deeper on the body from a taller position as he works into the throws with an ability to change the arm slot. Works mostly in the stretch on the mound with a high leg lift above the belt getting tucked at the top of the leg lift as the arm works to a three-quarters slot. Fastball is in the zone in the mid to upper 70’s and paired it with a 11-5 shaped breaking ball in the low 70’s. Right-handed hitter starts with an open upright stance. Bat path works short to the ball with a steep angle as he gets to contact getting to the inner half of the ball and working to the opposite field at his best. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
