Josh Bass is a 2026 C/RHP/IF with a 5-9 160 lb. frame from Downs, IL who attends Tri-Valley. Medium frame with young and athletic build; ran 60 yard dash in 8.07 seconds. Hits from spread stance, closes well in stride, accurate barrel with simple lefthanded stroke, gets barrel out and makes consistent contact, projects as he matures. Worked out behind the plate, stands up to throw, develop foot quickness and general pace to actions, flashed good accuracy on throws. Also pitched, 3/4 slot with fastball up to 70 mph, slow curveball with loose spin.
