Joel Perez is a 2026 OF/3B with a 5-11 150 lb. frame from Woodland Park, NJ who attends Passaic Co Tech. Perez works from a medium lean build with plenty to project on as a '26 prospect. Working exclusively from his primary OF spot, he showcased a squared fielding approach with a full arm action to top out at 80 mph. Perez has some life in the arm that should continue to see improvement as he physically matures. Offensively, the righty performed well both in BP and in game, starting from a wider base and wrapped hand set with a small hover trigger present. He flashed quick/loose hands through the zone with loud impact to the pull side/middle of the field when on time. Posted an exit velo of 81 mph.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
