Ajay Sahi is a 2027 SS/OF, UT, RHP, 3B, MIF with a 6-0 145 lb. frame from San Ramon, CA who attends Dougherty Valley. Features a tall and wiry build with present projection. Ran an 8.38 60-yd dash. In the INF, he sets up into quality posture with a glove/hands that fielded clean but worked down late at times. Avg. foot quickness as well but got to his spots. Showed an easy loose arm action that made accurate throws across with avg. arm strength for his level with more in the tank. At the plate, he sits in a wider base that doesn’t use much of a forward move. Sways into his backside with his heel turn trigger that turns into a toe tap at times. His hands load back and get the barrel into a slight tip at launch. Turns the barrel rearward creating some early depth through the zone and working the barrel on a slight uphill path through. Inconsistent barrels but when he did it was quality line drive impact into the gaps. On the mound, he has a repeatable and smooth delivery. He side steps into a mid chest knee lift that works down and slightly closed at landing. Arm works into a compact/continuous circle in the back and to release at a normal 3 / 4 slot. His fastball worked up to 74 and controlled it well in-zone. He mixed in a 11-5 curveball that showed quality shape but inconsistent command on.
