Cooper Rentz is a 2027 2B/RHP/MIF with a 5-3 110 lb. frame from Madison, AL who attends Westminister Christian Academy. Rentz works from a young projectable build with tons of time to add strength and fill out the frame as a 2027 grad. From the infield, he showed promise in the glovework with sound footwork in the buildup. As Rentz continues to mature, expect velocity across the diamond to increase. Rentz also worked off the mound, throwing exclusively from the stretch out of a low 3/4 slot. He flashed cut to the fastball and mixed a slider showcasing horizontal plane. Offensively, Rentz started from a closed stance with the ability to repeatedly get the barrel out in front. He kept the weight on the back foot successfully and used all parts of the field. Ran a 9.84 sixty yard dash.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
