Joe Steidel is a 2024 LHP/1B with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Henderson, NV who attends Green Valley. Features a medium/lean build with an athletic delivery. He works quickly down the mound. Is exclusively from the stretch using a chest high knee tuck and gets into a good driveleg sit for a more drop/drive type delivery. Uses a larger stride that rotates fast into footplant with a quality block. Arm works long and loose in the back to an over the top slot. FB worked 78-82 with intent up in the zone and getting over barrels for whiffs. CB showed quality action tunnelling it well off the FB and getting good downer shape inducing a lot of chase/whiff. Also flashed a quality fading CH in the low 70s. 7.09 60 yd. Made Top Prospects list.
