Christian Barnes is a 2026 OF/ with a 5-11 185 lb. frame from North Wales, PA who attends North Penn. Good looking symmetrical frame with plenty of projection yet present strength and athleticism. Ran the 60 yard dash in a solid 7.12 seconds. Primary position OF, moves really good on his feet and fields with his glove nicely out front. Classic midline transfer allowing him to work into quick, full arm path with good life and carry. Accurate feeds peaking at 84 mph to bags. Secondary RHP, with simple repeatable windup from the middle of the rubber. Stationary hands at the chest into a bit of a stabbing offline arm path. Medium leg lift to the belt with a bit of a tilt away from center. Over the top arm path, scattering the strike zone a bit but reached 79 mph. Just an athlete jumping on the mound and letting it rip, having fun. RHH working from a slightly closed stance and quiet stride into contact. Flat hands to start and creating legit bat speed. Compact bat path, to go with explosive lower half mechanics building lightening quick hands. Super projectable offensive skill set here that should continue to trend upward on a national level. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
