Parker Abshire is a 2026 SS/C, 3B, OF with a 5-11 145 lb. frame from Lafayette, LA who attends Acadiana. Recorded a 7.81 second sixty-yard dash time. Long, lean frame with plenty of time and room to physically mature. Primary middle-infielder with anticipatory actions into and through the fielding process. Incorporates segmented footwork to range laterally to either side, while fielding slightly deep. Recorded developing arm strength up to 70 mph across the diamond during drills. Secondary outfielder with similar deliberate pace to field the baseball, while shuffling into release. Worked slightly uphill to throw, recorded arm strength up to 72 mph from a higher arm slot during drills. Right-handed hitter that hits from an upright, open stance with a high hand set, high back elbow and smaller leg lift trigger. Incorporates rotational lower half mechanics and a tight turn to get to contact, while using the middle-of-the field mostly. Displays developing, compact bat speed with good bat-to-ball skills and some feel for the barrel. Will continue to improve with proper swing adjustments and additional strength.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
