Benny Jones is a 2027 RHP/C/IF with a 5-9 170 lb. frame from Mills River, NC who attends West Henderson. Medium current frame with good muscular development and more to come for this young athlete. Ran the 60 yard dash in 8.54 seconds. Primary position RHP, working from the 1B side with full windup. Compact operation with belt high leg lift before breaking hands at the belly into extra short arm path as accelerates through an over the top arm angle. Will get a bit quick with the front side but when he stayed in line produced an upper-60s FB as he stayed in the zone with it. SL is still developing but showed some tilt with more to come. Secondary IF, operating very methodically and taking extra steps before release. Adequate glove work and working uphill to throw. RHH starting with a narrow and upright stance using toe tap trigger to get on time. High to low hands and jumping at the ball a bit. Emerging bat speed and needs to accelerate the bat head through impact to get to the next level with the stick.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
