Luke Ueland is a 2023 OF/LHP with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Highlands Ranch, CO who attends Rock Canyon. Medium athletic build with good present strength. Left handed hitter, hits from a spread stance with a tight hand load, has a quick and late foot pull back load that creates inconsistent timing, has some strength in his swing when he's on time. 7.27 runner in the sixty. Primary outfielder on defense, is aggressive through the ball in the outfield, fields in cleanly with a quick transition and release, throws have some carry from a very compact arm action. Also pitched, high hand delivery with a high leg raise and tuck over the rubber, lands closed out front for a crossfire angle to the plate, over the top arm slot. Fastball topped out at 78 mph with some arm side running life at times. Curveball was a solid pitch with good shape and depth. Good athlete with the potential to improve with adjustments to his hitting approach. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
