KC Fall Softball Scouting Combine Morning Session
Faith Shirbroun is a 5'5, class of 2026 RHP/3B, SS from Fort Dodge, IA. Faith is an up and coming player with a sound fundamental skill level and emerging athleticism. A primary RHP, Faith shows a sound mechanical operation that is clean and smooth. Her full arm circle and ability to incorporate her strong core into her mechanics, make her ability to consistently throw strikes a big plus. She ably works the edges and consistently works down in the strike zone with a well-commanded fastball and drop ball. She has a solid grasp on two projectable pitches and should certainly add to her arsenal as her young career continues. Faith also took a turn on the infield. She shows quick and confident footwork to position. Her glovework is steady and smooth. She transitions well and her 55-mph throws are solid. At the plate, the RHH shows advanced ability to bunt the ball. She starts out of a wider base and utilizes a big leg lift to load. She has solid timing and a relatively quick trigger. More of a line drive, middle-of-the-field approach currently, which shows both bat control and quickness to contact. Power should come with maturity and added strength. Faith has the make-up and foundation to become a prospect as her career continues. She has a commendable approach to everything she does on the field at the moment and her obvious positive body language affirms that the game is important to her. Bright future ahead for this young player!
