Anthony Soto is a 2027 OF/RHP/IF with a 5-10 119 lb. frame from Philadelphia, PA who attends Archbishop Wood. High-waisted, lean frame with plenty of room and time to fill out. Recorded a 7.24 second sixty-yard dash time. Primary outfielder with a developing defensive skill set. Incorporates deliberate footwork into fielding process, a clean gather off his front foot and maintained some momentum into release. Produced accurate throws up to 69 mph during drills. Secondary right-handed pitcher that worked from a full windup delivery with quick pace and good rhythm. Proficient strike thrower that uses all four quadrants effectively. Fastball worked in the upper-60s for the majority of his outing and topped out at 70 mph from a three-quarters arm slot. Mixed in developing breaking ball with gradual depth that will continue to improve with additional refinement and velocity. Right-handed hitter that hits from a even base with tight hands, a high back elbow and small stride into launch. Gap-to-Gap approach with flatter swing path and developing bat-to-ball skills. Displayed consistent contact but will need to make proper swing adjustments and add strength to really impact the baseball moving forward. Projectable, young frame with tons of upside remaining. Excellent Student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
