Alexander Covar is a 2025 C/3B, OF with a 6-0 190 lb. frame from Austin, TX who attends Mcneil. Primary catcher with a strong lower half. Shows some twitch to the actions behind the dish with proper footwork putting him in a strong base to make accurate throws to all bases with average arm strength. Right-handed hitter starts with an even base using a small stride to create separation pre-swing. Does a nice job staying short to the ball with a more direct bat path at his best allowing him to create some lift out front and driving the ball to the pull side at his best with more power to tap into down the line. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
