Asher Watts is a 2027 C/RHP, 3B, OF with a 5-8 145 lb. frame from Austin, TX who attends Dripping Springs High School. Solid frame for age with present size to both halves. Ran a 8.00 in the sixty. Showed well in catcher and infield drills. Good exchange behind the dish and throws came out clean and accurately. Gains a bit of ground as well. Worked through the backhand well in his infield drills. Solid accuracy across and uses levers. Also pitched, worked from a simple drop-and-drive slot and stays balanced. Bit of life to his fastball and good shape to the breaker. Right-handed hitter, open stance with even base and higher hand set. Feel for launch shows with some loud pull-side contact. Good lift in his finish and hammered balls to left field. Big strength potential. Excellent student and named to Top Prospect list.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
