Jack Lloyd is a 2024 SS/RHP, OF with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Cumming, GA who attends West Forsyth. Second base type build with compact strength and some quick twitch ability. Ran a 6.86 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, athleticism shows out in the dirt, works around and through the ball nicely creating great angles, soft hands for the spot with clean funnels to the belt, very active with the feet moving laterally, drops the slot on the move and touched 90-mph across the diamond, silky smooth actions in game as well with feel for the six hole right now. Right-handed hitter, strong lower half is easily identifiable in the setup, even base with weight slightly shifted to backside, high hands and back elbow set, inside out path with lofted impact to opposite field. Can really handle the stick in game with above average bat to ball skills and an ability to handle velocity, stands to benefit from creating more separation in the swing down the road. Solid prospect right now with a very good arm and barrel skills that performs in game. Excellent student. Named to the 2023 National Uncommitted Showcase Top Prospect List.
