2022 13U/14U Sunshine South Showcase (Tues/Wed)
Cole Taylor is a 2026 1B/RHP/3B with a 6-3 210 lb. frame from Austin, TX who attends Pflugerville. Taylor worked exclusively from his primary 1B position, using a broader physical build with clear strength present. He was comfortable receiving with soft hands, utilizing a full arm action to ultimately top 71 mph across the diamond. Expect footwork to refine as Taylor matures and develops in the future. Offensively, the righty had plenty of evident strength in the hands starting from a wider even base to generate impact when on time. He creates carry on the baseball from the lower half, posting an exit velocity of 77 mph. Ran a 7.79 sixty yard dash. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
