Caleb Pickens is a 2025 2B/RHP/SS with a 5-4 135 lb. frame from St. Louis, MO who attends Oakville. Features a smaller build with good athleticism and some strength present. Ran a 7.30 60-yard dash. Primary infielder. Flashed smooth action throughout defensive workouts. Solid glove actions caught the ball well. Will waits back on the routine ball at times. Moved quicker laterally. Showcased the ability to range both ways. Transfers quickly into short arm action release. Displayed solid arm action across the diamond. Has the athleticism to throw from multiple arm angles. Right-handed hitter. Utilizes an open stance with a high hand setup and a high back elbow. Lower half crouches on the backside. Uses a middle to pullside approach. Has some feel for the barrel. Displayed a compact swing path with fairly loose hands. Getting the lower half more involved would allow for the ball to be driven with more authority. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
