John Carssow is a 2027 C/RHP, 1B, 3B, OF with a 5-4 120 lb. frame from Cedar Park, TX who attends Round Rock. Features a wiry build. Ran an 8.65 60-yard dash. Worked out on the infield and behind the plate. Showcased quick feet on the infield. Still developing consistent footwork into the catchpoint. Caught the ball consistently. Was accurate with a majority of throws. Used a high setup behind the plate. Gains ground well out of crouch. More arm strength should come as the frame continues to develop. Right-handed hitter. Utilizes a slightly wider stance with a low hand setup. Swings on a direct path. Line drive approach stays though the middle of the field. Still developing consistent feel for the barrel. Right-handed pitcher. Utilizes a semi-windup delivery into slight drop and drive mechanics. Throws with a loft of effort. Uses a short, clean arm action out of a 3/4 slot. The fastball sat 62-63 mph with slight cut action. Can throw it for strikes often. Paired it with a curveball at 51-55 mph with big, 12-6 action. Still developing bite on the offering.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
