Abram Decena is a 2028 OF/RHP, C, 1B, 3B, SS, IF, UT with a 5-9 155 lb. frame from Centerville, IA who attends Undecided. Recorded a 7.50 second sixty yard dash time. Medium frame with a strong and physical build for his age. Primary outfielder, fields off his back foot and utilizes a long and drawn out arm action. Moves through the ball well enough but tends to stop his momentum to throw. Also worked out behind the dish, shows a low and even stance with a long transfer. Tends to stand straight up to throw and just replaces the feet, will improve as he stays low throughout the process and gains ground towards second base. Secondary right-handed pitcher with a clean and simple delivery, utilizes a leg lift to the belt and a long and offline arm action. Featured a 11-5 shaped curveball with some late bite to it, along with a changeup that showed cut/sink. Filled up the zone and threw three quality pitches. Really shined in the box. Left-handed hitter with an exaggerated open stance and a high hand and back elbow set. Utilizes a small leg lift trigger, can get the barrel turned over and hits it hard when on time. Very advanced swing for his age and the strength is evident, made hard/consistent contact to the pull side. Syncs everything up well and can create lift, no signs of stiffness in the swing. A lot to like overall, projects well moving forward. Named to the 2022 13U/14U Midwest Top Prospect Games Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
