Gavin Smith is a 2027 RHP/OF with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from Georgetown, TX who attends Georgetown High School. Medium, athletic build with projectable length. Ran a 7.91 in the sixty. Right-handed pitcher, medium leg lift into standard three-quarter slot. Quick arm for age. Solid feel for his changeup with late arm-side fade. Flashed a few breaking balls for a solid mix rounded up with the fastball. Controlled and filled the zone. Outfielder, big intent to the arm with some big carry to the bag. Impressive short arm action, on a line with a solid front side finish. Right-handed hitter, open stance wide base and high hand set. Strong upper half with a leg lift trigger. Works it out front with some opposite field sprays. Good intent and strength.
