Zachary Bishop is a 2024 RHP/OF with a 5-10 155 lb. frame from Jonesboro, AR who attends Nettleton. Slender young build with lots of room to get stronger. Primary right handed pitcher, starts his windup with a big side step, has a full arm action in back leading to a 3/4's arm slot, lots of length to time up in his mechanics. Fastball worked up to 75 mph, had some run and sink at times when he was down in the zone. Threw both a slider and a curveball, slider was the better pitch with better feel/command and a short off barrel break, tended to cast a slow curveball. Competed well for three innings. 7.85 runner in the sixty. Plays the outfield when not on the mound, goes after the ball aggressively, has a whippy arm action from a lower slot and makes accurate throws. Right handed hitter, hits from a straight stance with a deep hand load, long arm generated swing with a line drive swing plane. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
