Denny Derham is a 2023 C/MIF with a 5-8 150 lb. frame from Livermore, CA who attends Granada. Ran a 7.44 60 yard dash. Behind the plate, has solid footwork and a quick release on throws. Put up a 1.93 pop time and good arm strength. Throws stay on line and squares balls up well. Good range in the infield with good ability to his glove side. Throws are accurate. At the plate, has a short compact swing with some quick bat speed. Has an arm bar in his set up and has some limited pre-pitch movement. Natural loft in his swing and generates good power to all fields. Patient hitter in the pitch and doesn't chase much. Excellent student.
