Landon Laido is a 2027 SS/RHP/2B with a 5-10 145 lb. frame from Little Silver, NJ who attends Red Bank Catholic. Laido works out of a medium build with young athleticism present. From his primary IF spot, Laido successfully fielded out in front showcasing calculated mechanics and a higher arm slot. He worked through the ball well and should see velocity increase as strength is added in the future. On the mound, the righty worked quickly and efficiently with cut evident on the FB up to 66 mph. The higher slot was present again, sequencing a looping curveball to keep hitters off balance. Offensively, Laido started from a narrow stance with compact hands that swung with intent to create lift and carry on the baseball. He consistently used the middle of the field with power potential becoming more prominent in the future. Ran a 9.20 sixty yard dash. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
