Erick Espinoza is a 2024 OF/UT with a 5-8 140 lb. frame from Redondo Beach, CA who attends Redondo Union. Features wiry frame with room to add more strength. Ran a 7.15 60-yard. Showed solid athletic throughout outfield workout. Uses it well throughout the fielding process, including the ability to charge the ball well. Quick ball transfers led into strong throws with a fair amount of carry. Square set up in the box with feet shoulder width apart. Utilizes moderate leg kick timing mechanism. Flashed quick hands throughout short, direct swing. Adding strength and intent to swing will help develop more power into the profile. Good student, as well.
