Jonah Copley is a 2026 C/2B with a 5-5 135 lb. frame from Webster Groves, MO who attends Chaminade College Prep. Features a smaller build with good athleticism. Ran a 7.41 60-yard dash. Showed athleticism on the infield and behind the plate. Used a patient approach on the dirt. Quality footwork works around the ball well. Allows for good range in both directions. Soft hands caught the ball well, especially to the backhand side. Was accurate with a majority of throws. Displayed sound actions behind the plate as well. Has the ability to get out of a side saddle crouch quickly. Solid footwork allows for good ground to be gained. Showed the ability to create solid carry on throws despite smaller size. Recorded a 2.19 pop time. Right-handed hitter. Utilizes a big leg lift timing mechanism. Occasionally will hinder the ability to get the foot down on time. Looks to drive the ball the other way using an inside-out swing path. Adding strength to the frame will help develop more power at the plate.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
