Logan Richards is a 2027 RHP/SS, OF with a 5-7 138 lb. frame from Flower Mound, TX who attends Flower Mound. Young, square shouldered frame with present strength proportioned throughout and additional room to fill moving forward. Rana 7.65 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher, works exclusively out of the stretch, high energy delivery with a quick leg lift into a longer take back through the backside working to a low three-quarters release point. Fastball topped out at 72 mph with heavy sinking life to the bottom part of the zone with nice action to the arm side. Vertical sharpness to curveball up to 61 mph from a similar release point; worked around the zone and able to miss bats in the zone. Plays back on the ball in the outfield, lower slot on throws with some uphill to release, maintains direction well through the ball; young actions in the infield, fields the ball out front with two hands, arm strength will continue to develop moving forward. Right-handed hitter, bars hands at start of swing, swings with intent and looks to get extended out front at the point of contact. Weight occasionally drifts through lower half, best when on a linear plane, flashes lift at times, will open front side early in swing.
