Matthew Isshack is a 2026 C/ with a 5-6 155 lb. frame from Ozone Park, NY who attends Archbishop Molloy. Recorded a 8.83 second sixty-yard dash time. Medium frame with some present lower half strength and plenty of room to physically mature. Primary catcher, receives from a slightly side-saddled stance with relatively soft hands out in front, segmented footwork out of the crouch with deliberate pace to throwing motion. Works uphill to throw from an over-the-top slot, delivered online and accurate throws up to the bags during drills. Will continue to improve with mechanical refinement and additional strength. Secondary right-handed pitcher that worked exclusively out of the stretch in this look. Uses belt high leg lift to get started, medium length stride out to foot strike with slightly offline direction to it. Throws fair amount of strikes, fastball worked in the upper-50s for the duration of his outing, topping out at 60 mph from a three-quarters arm slot. Mixed in slow breaking ball that varied in shape and showed gradual depth. Right-handed hitter that hits from a slightly open stance with a tight hand set, high back elbow and toe-tap trigger. Contact oriented stroke with minimal hip torque in the lower half and slightly elongated swing path. Middle-to-opposite field approach with developing bat-to-ball skills. Will continue to improve with proper swing adjustments, additional usage of his lower half and strength. Good Student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
