Bryce Munchel is a 2026 SS/RHP/3B with a 6-1 160 lb. frame from Aldie, VA who attends John Champe. Long frame with lean current build and the type of body that will add physicality in the coming months. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.34 seconds. Primary position IF, moving well on his feet with first step quickness and getting into proper angles with ease. Confident glove work with smooth actions and athletic overall presentation. Clean transfer to nice arm action creating throws up to 83 mph across the diamond. Handled the slow roller with ease too. Secondary RHP, working with the full windup, abbreviated leg lift and breaking hands at the belt into a medium inline arm path. Got more comfortable as he went, repeating delivery well with smooth mechanics. Low-3/4 arm angle creating some deception and nice action to he two-pitch mix. FB with arm side run and occasional sink up to 78 mph and above average spin traits. Vertical CB with late depth and advanced spin in the 2,400+ range. Pumps strikes and shows projection here. RHH working from a spread and open stance, lower hand set and quiet pre-pitch rhythm. No stride but still created quality bat speed as he worked the middle of the field with low, line-drives. Repeats impact well showing bat head feel. High end two-way skill set with plenty of projection for this young athlete. Named to the Coastal Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List.
