Lamarques Bussey is a 2027 3B/RHP/1B with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Houston, TX who attends Home school. Big and strong athletic build for his age. Right handed hitter, hits from a spread stance with a high hand load, has a long and loose swing with good extension through contact, gets uphill at contact and put the ball in the air consistently, projects power in the future. 8.15 runner in the sixty. Played both corners in the infield, has good lower half actions moving to the ball for his size and shows athleticism, plays under control with some idea on his fundamentals, makes accurate throws from a compact arm action, chance to stay at third base in the future if he doesn't grow too much. Took a turn on the mound, works from a rock back high leg raise delivery, throws from a short 3/4's arm slot. Fastball topped out at 72 mph with some cutter action at times, tends to slow his arm on a short slider, threw mostly fastballs. Named to the 13U/14U South Showcase Top Prospect List.
