Jayden Pipes is a 2026 1B/RHP/OF with a 6-2 161 lb. frame from Trinity, NC who attends Wesleyan Christian Academy. Large, square shouldered frame with long limbs and a lean build, projectable build with room to fill throughout. Ran a 7.71 60-yard dash. Primary first baseman, deliberate tempo to actions away from the bag, longer arm action through the back with developing carry on throws, gets lower behind the ball and fields it out front well, low effort release. Similar easy release on throws from the outfield with some smoothness to footwork, higher lead arm into release, works to the intended base well; two hands out front fielding in the infield with some bend at the waist, steady tempo, works on top of throws. Also pitched, fluid delivery and works under control with longer arm action and some looseness; fastball topped to at 77 mph, mostly true in life with occasional sink when on time with release. Mixed a short curveball with some 11-5 shape up to 70 mph and can continue to throw with conviction; flashed a straight changeup at 71 mph with a similar release point. Right-handed hitter, begins with a slightly open stance and a high hand set and back elbow at the plate. Long and linear stroke through the zone, continued to find barrels throughout round with extension out front. Best contact to the pull side with line drives coming off, loads hands back at start of swing, comes off well when squared.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
