Joseph Bense is a 2028 RHP/C/MIF with a 5-6 140 lb. frame from Ferndale, WA who attends Ferndale. Smaller frame with a lean athletic build. Ran a 7.61 second 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher, up tempo and athletic delivery, lands closed and gets over front side well, pitches to contact with the fastball and competes well, sharp curveball he lands well with good bite to project on, good combo of arm speed and athleticism. Catches and plays some infield too, athletic on the dirt and moves feet well, good bounce and arm strength up to 80 plays well across. Right-handed hitter, even stance and loads short, gets the barrel out clean with looseness to the path, consistent timing and works to pull on a line, repeats well overall.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
