Trey Gnetz is a 2023 2B/RHP with a 5-9 160 lb. frame from Mahtomedi, MN who attends Cretin Derham Hall. Medium compact build with some twitch to his actions. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.32 seconds. Primary position IF, working deliberately through his angles and playing with good energy. Solid athletic overall actions, moving with some hop in his step and displaying quality range especially to the glove side. Accurate glove work, smooth actions and deep midline transfer. Arm works easy with above average accuracy and generating velocity up to 81 mph across the field. LHH working from a well-balanced slightly open stance. Employs hanging leg lift for trigger and timing creating good momentum to contact. Works his hands inside the ball with good quickness and showed lofted power to the pull side. Handles the barrel well and knows himself as a hitter. Outstanding student as well.
