Christian Owens is a 2026 LHP/OF with a 6-1 140 lb. frame from Louisburg, KS who attends Louisburg. Recorded a 7.43 sixty-yard dash at the event. The frame is very tall and athletic, very projectable at 6-foot-1, 140-pounds. The primary left-handed pitcher has a very high leg kick at the top of his delivery which was hard for him to repeat on a consistent basic. Would benefit from calming the leg kick down and staying more balanced through the motion. Threw from a high 3/4 slot and sometimes rushes the arm action through the motion trying to play catch up. The secondary outfielder fielded out in front of his body with a longer arm action. Worked through the ball with some momentum and extra steps into throws towards the base. Throws played high with some carry to the base. During BP, Owens hit from a wide base and open front side. Used a toe tap timer to stay on time and balanced. Tended to drop his hands a bit and force a vertical bat path to the ball, connecting on a couple barrels. Will continue to progress his tools as his frame physically matures and gains confidence on the field.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
