Ryan Christiansen is a 2026 RHP/C, 1B, 3B with a 6-3 185 lb. frame from Lakeville, MN who attends Apple Valley. Tall and athletic frame. Primary right-handed pitcher with a three pitch mix out of a hybrid wind up and lower three-quarter slot. Showed command of the fastball and consistently got ahead in counts throughout, the pitch topped out at 86 and showed significant arm side run. His slider is a sweeping pitch that moves across the zone and plays well off the fastball featuring tight and efficient spin. Feel for a third pitch in a fading change up, a firmer one but one with both movement and velocity separation off the two other offerings. Plenty of projection on the mound. Also worked out in the infield, showed fundamental footwork, developing range, some clean glove actions and body control with an accurate throwing arm across the diamond. Right-handed hitter hit from a narrow base, rotational swings with a level path through the zone, pull side approach and developing bat speed. Named to Minnesota Indoor Top Prospect List. Outstanding student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
