Jag Garces is a 2026 RHP/3B/OF with a 5-10 165 lb. frame from West Bridgewater, MA who attends West Bridgewater. Garces works from a medium developing build and can be labeled a swiss army knife as he showcased his talent at a range of positions over the course of the event. Starting from his primary spot on the bump, the righty worked exclusively from the stretch with fluid mechanics and a high 3/4 release. He mixed a looping 12-6 curve as well as a changeup that effectively killed spin in the arsenal. Ultimately topped out at 75 mph. From both the IF and OF, Garces displayed a quick compact release with clean glove actions and developing footwork that worked through the baseball well. He topped 77 mph from the OF and 74 mph across the diamond. Offensively, he started from a narrow slightly closed stance with a high back elbow and slight wrap to the barrel that swung with intent to produce line drive impact. He flashed feel for the barrel with power becoming more prominent in the future. Ran a 7.34 sixty yard dash.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
