Jacob Wiggs is a 2027 SS/RHP, 1B, 2B, 3B, MIF, IF, UT with a 5-9 155 lb. frame from Greenville, SC who attends Southside Christian Schools. Smaller, lean build with twitch in the game and a lot of time to continue getting stronger. 8.02 runner in the sixty-yard dash. Right-handed hitter with high hands and a high back elbow set in the stance. Creates separation in the hands during the load, fires the hips hard, generates good bat speed and whip through the zone. Has natural loft to the path and the ball jumps off the barrel. Primary shortstop with sound, athletic actions. Gets the glove down early, works around ground balls and carries momentum through throws. Developing arm strength but showed the ability to make all the plays. Recorded throws up to 72 mph. Secondary right-handed pitcher, side steps to a lower leg lift to balance in the windup, coils into the backhip, medium arm stroke in the back to a high release point, very quick arm. Lost the zone at times in his first inning but settled in the second inning and filled it up. Was at his best when he mixed fastball, up to 74 mph, and a curveball, up to 61 mph. Named to 2022 13u/14u Fall Georgia Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
