2023 13U/14U Sunshine Mid-Atlantic Showcase
Kees Yashko is a 2027 OF/ with a 6-1 165 lb. frame from Clifton, VA who attends Homeschool. High-waisted, proportioned frame with athletic look and plenty of projection moving forward. Recorded a 7.23 second sixty-yard dash time. Primary outfielder with athletic actions throughout the fielding process. Displayed proper footwork into the fielding process, produced clean gather out in-front and maintained momentum into release. Recorded accurate throws up to 78 mph during drills. Right-handed hitter that hits from a narrow, slightly open base with preset, stacked hands and hanging leg lift trigger. Intent based swing with torque and separation into launch. Displayed plenty of present bat speed and impacts the baseball with authority. Pull-side approach due to rotational nature of movements, projects for legitimate power as he physically matures. Sound bat-to-ball skills with strength at impact. Fundamentally sound, young prospect with tons of projection moving forward, will continue to improve with minor mechanical refinements and additional strength. Named to the 2023 13/14U Sunshine Mid-Atlantic Showcase Top Prospect List.
