Jessie Perkins is a 2024 SS/2B with a 5-11 155 lb. frame from Florence, MS who attends Richland High School. Slender young high waisted build with plenty of room to get stronger. Right handed hitter, hits from a slightly open stance with a deep hand load, long and level swing that puts the barrel in the zone for a long time, will cut his swing off out front at times, mostly pull line drive contact, bat speed will continue to improve with additional strength and physical maturity. 7.40 runner in the sixty. Primary middle infielder on defense, tends to sweep his glove at the ball fielding, showed some lower half agility, throws his back side over throwing, developing raw arm strength. Good student.
