Blake Bourne is a 2027 2B/RHP/3B with a 5-3 115 lb. frame from Wake Forest, NC who attends Wakefield. Recorded an 8.10 60-yard dash. Primary second baseman with a young build. Showed natural actions and good footwork in the infield. Worked through it well and employed a shorter arm action. Made the throws accurately to the bag. Left-handed hitter and starts from a medium base with even feet and a high back elbow and hands. Loads his weight on the back side and coils. Showed looseness to his swing and barrel fluidity through the zone. Found a good amount of barrels during the round while working through the ball well. Worked the pull side with an overall consistent round. Secondary right-handed pitcher and works a side step into his delivery and a leg lift to core level. Lands slightly open at foot strike and releases from a mid-3/4 slot. Showed a nice tempo to his delivery and ran the fastball up to 65 mph. Displayed feel to spin and threw the curveball often with 11-5 shape and good depth. Possesses the tools to continue to build on and make an impact offensively and defensively.
